Darcy's Bar and Kitchen is a family-run, dog-friendly bistro style venue in Bournemouth, seating around 40 diners inside and 20 outside in their garden, serving fresh local food, fresh cocktails, and our own exclusive house-blend coffee.
They are one Bournemouth's favourite spots for Breakfast, Brunch and Sunday lunches. Well known on review websites for generous portions, friendly service, lovely coffee, great cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere, they are open daily for breakfast, brunch, lunch, with evening food and drinks Thursday to Saturday.
Sunday is their most popular day, with relaxed Sunday Roast dining, with Traditional Sunday roasts (12pm till 5pm). There is a seasonal switch in the summer with all day Sunday dining (9am till 7pm) - summer only from June 21st to 23rd August (10 Sundays) and traditional Roasts then return 6th September. New Sunday all day dining experience is at base of this page.
Owned by Sarah and Wayne (since October 2025), who also run Burbs Kitchen Event Catering in Southbourne, Bournemouth. Darcy's brings professional catering and event planning expertise together with the warmth of a local independent bar and kitchen.
Sarah says: "Our family and friends run venue in Bournemouth is built around the things we love most: quality food, great coffee, handcrafted cocktails and bringing people together. Whether you are popping in for breakfast, joining us for an event themed night or gathering your family and friends for a special occasion, you will always find a lovely welcome waiting for you".
Happy Hour runs 5–7 p.m on Cocktails and Mocktails.

Thursday to Saturday we can stay open till midnight if we have a party booking.
Our Bournemouth restaurant and bar, event space / venue is available for private hire on Saturdays and Monday to Wednesday evenings only. A couple of clubs use it on a regular basis, so do give us a call or pop in to have a chat about your party plans. Darcy's Bar and Kitchen is an ideal space in Bournemouth for Wedding Receptions and Big Birthday Parties for up to 50 guests. We love a good party!

Our Bournemouth Restaurant and Cocktail Bar is located opposite Sainsbury Local, 1089 Christchurch Road Bournemouth. Close to AFC Bournemouth Stadium (offering match day deals) and we have noticed we are a regular breakfast and lunch spot for those visiting Bournemouth Hospital and Open Days at the Health Science University, 5 minutes away on Parkwood Road. Travel sustainably — we’re a short walk from Pokesdown Station, opposite the 1A and 22 bus stop, and beside a Beryl Bike Bay (So you could scoot to us).
